A new user experience for the most influential cinema website in Italy.
Comingsoon is the most important web portal for cinema lovers. From 1999 it has been collecting reviews, recommendations and news from the world of entertainment: cinema, film in TV, digital video, TV series, music, games and books. We rethought the navigation, designing and crafting all components of the user interface, following an approach focused on the needs readers.

The challenge of this project was revolutionizing the navigational experience while leaving the architecture of the portal untouched. Our interface restyling, user flow re-design and contents organization, perfectly integrated with their pre-existing application logic.
The User Experience was redefined thanks to our re-design of the interface components, making them more modern, readable and usable.
The greater visual impact given to the movie posters engages the user to explore the contents, and the widgets help the editorial staff to highlight the latest news from the film world, while leaving the focus on the most popular releases.
An icon and label system using minimalist design helps the reader to recognize different kinds of content, improving the usability.
